To facilitate the resurgence in crystallographic screening, Zenobia is now offering Express-ZEN-CORE 288™ screening kits designed specifically for x-ray crystallographic screening. Compounds are available in multiple 96 well formats to facilitate soaking as: single compounds, mixtures of 3, and mixtures of 6.

Express-ZEN-CORE 288™: A balanced mix of complex and drug-like cores
Express-ZEN-CORE-288™ is the first addition to Zenobia Fragment's Express Tool Finder Product line. It is a highly efficient CORE screen that samples Zenobia’s 960 compound collection. Each of the four libraries in Zenobia's Discovery-series is sampled equally on this plate. Express ZEN-CORE 288™ is designed to yield quality leads and provide early information about the drugability of your target. ZEN-CORE 288™ is the first off-the-shelf consumable fragment library. It can be pre-formatted in a 384 well plate or 96 well format and ready for immediate screening. Each of the 288 fragments is accurately pre-spotted with 1ul of a 200mM stock ZEN-CORE 288™ solution. The first and last three columns of the 384 well plate are left blank to provide ample room for your internal controls. Approximately 30 micrograms of compound are included which is suitable to conduct at least one fragment screen by most methodologies. Typical hit rate for this screen is 3-10% for an average target. All fragments are soluble to 200mM in 100% DMSO and 1mM in aqueous solution. Additional compound may be purchased separately.

For systems that crystallize readily, Express-Zen-Core 288™ is pre-plated as single compounds in the SWISSCI 3 Lens 96 well Crystallization Plate.

Express-ZEN-CORE 288™: X-ray Mix of Three: Efficient, shape diverse mixtures

In many cases, it is much more efficient to screen as mixtures. Express-Zen-Core 288™ has a very high shape diversity making it possible to group into shape diverse mixtures that can be distinguished even at lower resolution. Express-Zen-Core 288™-Xray Mix of 3 is provided in the MRC 2 drop 96 well crystallization plate.
